Facing Pages

 

Uncheck allow document pages to shuffle to create multiple facing page documents. This can be used to create some interesting page layouts.

 

Guides

To add guides onto the pages highlight both pages and go to layout and create guides.

 

Using Images from the internet

Choose a large image

Un-check re-sample and change the resolution to 300

Save it as a tiff file

In Indesign place the image

If the image needs to be rescaled, right click the image and click, edit with Photoshop

 Re-check re-sample image and input the new scale, select from the drop down menu, best for enlargement.
